Sixth stage:
THE MURDER IN JERZU
Murder in the countryside of Jerzu, near Gairo, on 12 January. Riccardo Muceli , 40 years old, is hit by two shots in a country lane.
From the first information he is aboard his car and is leaving his fold when he is mortally wounded by a couple of shots.

KILLED IN OLIENA BEFORE THE EYES OF WIFE AND CHILDREN
On 20 January, a barrage of shots killed Tonino Corrias in front of his house in the center of Oliena. The 59-year-old farmer had just left to go to his sheepfold. Everything happens practically under the eyes of his wife and two children.
The man, known by all as "Pereddu", had escaped two ambushes in the past.

FARMER SHOT AT GESTURI
Gesturi, 1 February: the body of a man is found in the countryside of the town. It is Matteo Murgia, 40 years old. On the chest ten gunshot wounds. Someone waited for him probably hidden behind a low wall and when the farmer arrived he called him, Murgia turned around and was killed. He didn't even have time to react, to flee.

CAGLIARI, CHILD ON THE PUSHCHAIR OVERWHELMED AND KILLED
Tragedy on February 1 in Cagliari. A one-year-and-three-month-old baby, Daniele Ulver, who was pushed by his mother in a stroller, is run over and killed by a scooter in via Cadello. The two-wheeled vehicle drags him for several meters. The driver doesn't stop, leaving his mother in a state of shock on the asphalt, and runs away. He will turn himself in shortly after to the traffic police: he is a 37-year-old from Cagliari.

THE FEMINICIDE OF ZEDDIANI
February 5: in Zeddiani, in his sleep, a man slaughters his wife with hammers . The victim is 51-year-old Daniela Cadeddu, originally from Cabras, the murderer Giorgio Meneghel, a 53-year-old farmer.
The femicide takes place at dawn, in the bedroom. It was the perpetrator of the crime himself who called the carabinieri to confess what he had committed shortly before.

CATCHED BY BUCKET AS IT RETURNS TO BADU 'E CARROS
A 42-year-old from Silanus, Luca Virde , was killed in Nuoro on the evening of 14 February. It is by road, in via Romano Ruiu, he is returning to Badu 'e Carros where he is serving a sentence for murder. He was hit by three shots fired in sequence by a killer who was holding a shotgun and then fled.
The investigations had started from the episode for which Virde was in prison: in 2012 during a party in the square he had stabbed a man to death.

THE MASSACRE OF PORTO TORRES
On the evening of 26 February, a 40-year-old bricklayer originally from Ploaghe massacred his father-in-law, Basilio Saladdino , with a hatchet. His mother-in-law, Caterina Mancusa (who died shortly after), and his wife Ilaria were also injured. It was with the latter that he wanted to speak, probably to discuss the custody of the two children assigned to the mother. Husband and wife argue, he kicks and punches her. Saladdino arrives to his rescue, a scuffle ensues and Baule goes to the car to grab an ax with which he attacks his father-in-law.

GERGEI, FARMER KILLED WITH BALKS
It was evening in Gergei when on 20 June, in the countryside of Sant'Isidoro, a 63-year-old farmer was killed on his farm . Massimo Deidda is beaten with sticks.
The body was discovered around 9 pm after the family members, not seeing him return, sounded the alarm.
In a few hours two people are arrested, they are father and son, with whom the victim allegedly had discussions.

CAGLIARI, THE COLLAPSE AT THE UNIVERSITY
Cagliari, 18 October. It is 21.45 when a roar shakes the Via Trentino area in Cagliari. A university building inside the Magisterium collapses on itself . This is the great hall that once belonged to Geology, and is now used by the Faculty of Languages. Up until a few hours before it had been crowded with students, luckily there was nobody there at the time of the collapse.
An investigation has been opened into the case for culpable disaster and culpable collapse of a building.

OCTOBER IN SARDINIA
October is a very special month for Sardinia, as it has rarely been seen: high temperatures that allow many to still go to the beaches and swim out of season.
October records up to 30 degrees, an exceptional heat that ends up on all the national media.

CAPOTERRA, KILLED BY HUSBAND WITH KNIVES
A 48-year-old woman, Slobodanka Metusev , is killed in Capoterra on November 6 in a reception center. To hit her with some stab wounds is her husband, Stevan Sajn, 50 years old. Both are of Serbian nationality.
When the rescuers arrive on the spot for the victim of yet another feminicide there is already nothing more to do.

ATTACK ON A CASH VAN ON THE 131
Early in the morning on 30 November, a security van was attacked on the 131 near Giave. An armed commando made up of several people robs the armored vehicle - the loot is around one million euros - after creating a roadblock, and fires a few shots injuring the two vigilantes and a woman who was going to work by car. Then the gang flees.
A manhunt ensues and checkpoints are set up throughout the area. The cars used to carry out the blitz are found burned.

HUMAN REMAINS ARE FOUND IN THE SUPRAMONTE OF BAUNEI
On 4 December, in the Supramonte of Baunei, the remains of a man were found. Our thoughts immediately turn to Alessandro Zaniboni , a 55-year-old surveyor – who arrived in Sardinia for work – whose traces had gone missing in July last year. The investigations will confirm this hypothesis, even if the cause of death remains to be clarified.

ACCIDENTS AT SEA IN LA MADDALENA: TWO VICTIMS
In just one day, December 6, there are two accidents at sea in La Maddalena. In the first, a dinghy ends up against the rocks , a 16-year-old is seriously injured. In the second, with a similar dynamic, two men die. They were aboard a boat that impacted against the rocks in the Bisce island area. The victims are Tommy Di Chello, from Golfo Aranci, and the Neapolitan Giacomo Bot. Then there are two other wounded, rescued and taken to hospital.
