More than four months have passed since the terrible accident in which the well-known Cagliari singer Nicola Macvò, known as Joe Perrino , was seriously injured. Then the struggle between life and death and the slow recovery. And it is still from a hospital bed that Joe speaks publicly for the first time since that day in August. He did it in connection with Francesco Abate, within the program "Caffècorretto" on Radiolina.

«For 2024», he says, « I hope that they put me back on my feet , that they put the pieces back together. The conditions are good, for good luck I even took the liberty of scheduling concerts for this summer . I hope to get back in shape."

Perrino takes a run, with his usual optimism, then returns to talk about one of the last projects he created before the accident, the film "Polvere" , which tells the story of Aldo Scardella, who died in prison by suicide after a terrible judicial error : «I tour the prisons of Sardinia for my musical project “For grace not received”», says the singer. «I played an elderly inmate in the Buoncammino prison in Paolo Carboni's film and I swear, I saw it with tears : it is a film that gives an insight into what happened in those years with Scardella's suicide as an innocent». Not the only film in which he appeared: «Another film is “Anna” by Marco Amenta, another which has received several awards».

Then the interview moves on to the months spent in hospital. He, always on the side of the last, explains how he felt spending his days among those corridors. « Very depressed. I wasn't used to hospital life, there are dynamics that lead you to be angry, rude, arrogant. But you can never spit on the plate where you eat."
