The 2025 edition of the Grand Prix Corallo ended with a decidedly positive balance, which this year confirmed itself as one of the most anticipated and representative events of the Alghero summer. The suggestive Piazza San Marco in Fertilia was the setting for a memorable evening, embellished by a parterre of important guests and enthusiastic participation: a full audience and great media coverage, with a strong presence of local and national press. Under the conduction of the historic face of Italian TV Claudio Lippi and the creator of the award Nicola Nieddu, the stage hosted some of the most significant personalities from the world of cinema, music, science, journalism and sport, in an evening that managed to combine elegance, emotion and spectacularity. The symbol of the event was the sculpture depicting the Goddess Mater with a branch of coral, the work of the artist Mario Nieddu, emblem of the connection between culture, identity and territory.

THE WINNERS – Among the protagonists awarded in this edition: Gavino Sanna, an internationally renowned advertising creative, awarded for his extraordinary contribution to communication; Tommaso Ghidini, a senior executive at the European Space Agency, awarded for his achievements in the most prestigious aerospace programmes in the world; Anna Mazzamauro, one of the most beloved actresses on the Italian scene, also celebrated for the 50th anniversary of the first film in the Fantozzi saga; • Alice Maselli, an emerging young talent in cinema; • Silvia Mezzanotte, an extraordinary musical interpreter, welcomed by a well-deserved standing ovation; • Veronica Voto, a well-known face on Sky Tg24; Sabina Stilo, presenter of Rai Isoradio; • Lorenzo Santamaria, a famous Spanish singer-songwriter, much loved in Latin American countries.

The special “Vanni Sanna” award was assigned to FC Alghero for the “Special” project, dedicated to sports inclusion.

SPECIAL PRIZES – Great emotion also for the special prizes awarded to the president of FASI, Bastianino Mossa, accompanied by representatives of Sardinian clubs around the world, and to the Catalan couple Joan Mayoral and Rosalia Jané, loyal visitors to Alghero for almost 50 years. There was no shortage of musical moments: the stage vibrated thanks to the performances of the American singer Ronnie Jones and the Algherese artist Aurora Bassu, who opened the evening with a heartfelt tribute to the city.

The event was organized, as usual, by ASD Valverde of president Costantino Marcias, this year in collaboration with the CCN of Fertilia, chaired by Anna Sigurani.

"I would like to thank the municipal administration led by Mayor Cacciotto, the Alghero Foundation with President Porcu and all its staff for their precious support - declared Marcias - as well as the Porto Conte Park, Coldiretti, and the sponsors who made this edition possible: Agenzia Valverde, Sella e Mosca, Accademia Olearia, Supermercati Coop, Ristorante Rafel, Nemea Sistemi, Gin Soero, Special Car and Vivaio Floreluna".
