The Bishop of Nuoro and Ogliastra, Antonello Mura, has taken to the internet to share his warning to the faithful. The prelate has received disturbing news regarding the presence in Ogliastra of former priest Alessandro Minutella, branded a heretic by the Church of Rome.

This is why he raised the alarm and warned the faithful to stay well away from the man and his ideas— the ones he preaches without any qualms about ecclesiastical stigma. "Having learned from social media of Alessandro Minutella's presence and activities in the Diocese, the Bishop, for the good of the faithful entrusted to his pastoral care, deems it useful and necessary to remind them that those who attend meetings and activities promoted by the aforementioned Mr. Minutella are gravely endangering the integrity of their faith and compromising their communion with the Catholic Church. They run the risk of falling into heresy and separation from the Church, with the consequences provided by canon law, including interdiction from the sacraments."
