Trick or treat? Rather, firecrackers and vandalism. This was the Halloween party in Bosa , vandalized by gangs of kids who, on Monday evening and until late at night, unpunished, took over the squares and streets of the center. Planters destroyed, glass broken, flower beds devastated. And again: flowers arranged for the anniversary of the dead in front of the war memorial torn away. Throwing stones at passers-by, firecrackers detonated in bottles and jars. On several occasions the carabinieri had to intervene.

Mayor Piero Casula thunders: "I am very sorry and disappointed for what has happened. There is no extenuating excuse: it is not possible for a party to become an opportunity to behave like in a jungle".

He also announces that in the next few hours he will sign a restrictive order against the detention and explosion of firecrackers, which could go as far as a ban on sales in the urban circle. And finally he promises that those responsible for vandalism and damage will be punished: "We will watch the video footage of the cameras", he assures, "and I hope they can be useful in identifying who acted." The Municipality will present the damage bill to the parents of those responsible.
