Iglesias, woman becomes ill while driving: she crashes into a parking totem.

Fears erupted this morning in Iglesias after a woman suddenly felt ill and lost control of her car, crashing into the bollards and parking totem in Piazza Sella.

The accident, which occurred around noon, involved a single vehicle, a gray Volkswagen. Fortunately, aside from material damage, the driver did not suffer serious injuries.

Firefighters and local police responded to the scene. The woman, although uninjured by the impact, was transported to Sirai Hospital, where she is awaiting medical evaluation.
