Cagliari, fears over a fire on Via Jenner: road closed and large cloud of smoke.

A large fire broke out in the early afternoon between Via Jenner and Via Peretti in Cagliari : the flames attacked an uncultivated plot of land, burning brushwood. A large cloud of smoke rose.

Firefighters rushed to the scene and worked for several hours. Via Jenner was closed to traffic during the extinguishing operations.

There were some scary moments as the flames approached buildings and cars . Some people managed to move their vehicles before the fire could reach them.

Once the extinguishing operations were completed, cleanup and investigations began to understand the nature of the fire.
