Siligo, Torralba and Ardara, with their mayors Giovanni Porcheddu, Pier Paolo Mulas and Francesco Dui, together with the president of Eurinsula Isabel Vera, signed the declaration of intent for the "Islas del Mar" project between the Municipalities of the Canary Islands and the Sardinia.

Also present were the deputy mayor of Perdasdefogu Flavio Cabitza and the councilor of the municipality of Orotelli Gabriella Agate. The project's objectives include establishing an exchange of ideas and models, as well as promoting lasting cultural links between the islands of the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. This is thanks to the alliance between Eurinsula and the Federation of Municipalities of the Canary Islands Government

«And it is precisely thanks to the declaration of intent that the process for active participation has begun, through the next European call, to concretely build together an intercultural path of shared growth and prosperity», we read in a note.

There were several institutional meetings on Spanish soil, including the visit to the town hall and the basilica of Candelaria and the Canary Islands parliament.
