The Municipality of Arzachena is at loggerheads with real estate giant Castello Sgr Spa, a company implicated in the investigation that has already led to the resignation of Milan's Councilor for Urban Regeneration, Giancarlo Tancredi.

The administration led by Roberto Ragnedda has in fact revoked, through self-regulation, the permits for the expansion of a platform for a beach club in Poltu Quatu . The municipality also acted after the Legal Intervention Group (GRIG) submitted a request for access to documents.

The documents state that the municipal permits were revoked because "following the inspection, the presence of investigative deficiencies was detected that undermined the regularity of the procedure and the legitimacy of Consolidated Provision number 180/2025."

Castello Sgr Spa appealed to the Regional Administrative Court (TAR) requesting a stay of the Arzachena administration's order, but the judges ruled in favor of the Municipality. Therefore, the self-mandated annulment ordering "the immediate suspension of the deed registered to Castello Sgr Spa regarding the project to modify a platform in the Liscia di Vacca – Poltu Quatu, Arzachena" remains in effect.
