The section of State Road 195, closed in recent days to allow for repairs to the pipeline that carries water to the Sarroch industrial area, has reopened to traffic.

After discussions throughout the day with Anas and Tecnocasic, Mayor Beniamino Garau signed the ordinance for the use of at least one direction of travel .

The road has been opened in the Sarroch-Cagliari direction, while the other side – affected by maintenance work on the pipeline – remains closed to traffic .

The new ordinance allows the circulation of vehicles – except heavy goods vehicles – proceeding from Sarroch towards Cagliari: to return it will be necessary to continue on, turn towards Capoterra at the Sa Cardiga and Su Schironi roundabout, take Provincial Road 91 and then take State Road 195 bis.

The lack of signage has exacerbated the inconvenience for motorists, forcing them to turn back after arriving in front of the construction site. Traffic jams have persisted throughout the day , increasing travel times from Pula to Cagliari to as much as two hours. Over the past two days, commuters, tourists, and residents have been stuck on the 195 bis for hours.
