They have appeared in the doors and gates of some houses in Pula and would order the owners to open the doors for an inspection authorized by the Ministry of the Interior, but those notices, placed by some malicious person, are absolutely false.

In the posters posted in recent days in some houses in the town, a check by the authorities is anticipated where documents, a lease contract or the deed certifying ownership of the property will be requested.

The suspicion is that the manifesto, which bears the heading of the Ministry of the Interior, is actually an attempt to deceive especially the elderly and frail people.

The municipal administration, which recently organized a meeting on the techniques most used by scammers against the elderly, immediately sounded the alarm : "We invite citizens not to open the doors to strangers: these notices have been posted by unknown they have nothing to do with the Ministry of the Interior, most likely moved by bad intentions. If someone notices people in a suspicious attitude wandering around or staying at their home, they must immediately contact 112 ».
