Rebirth also comes through lipstick and mascara. The association "Le belle donne" is convinced of this and, together with a group of beauticians specialized in make-up from all over Sardinia, is organizing a free make-up course for women undergoing cancer and hormone therapy.

The initiative "A touch of color after the storm" will take place in Oristano on May 28 in the congress hall of the Mariano IV hotel, from 10 to 14.

"During illness, many women find themselves facing the appearance of blemishes such as pallor, dark circles, loss of eyelashes and eyebrows, skin rashes, dryness that often take time to subside and disappear", explains Maria Cadeddu, president of the association, "In this particular period of a person's life , make-up becomes a precious ally that helps to face and manage discomfort, to recover one's image, to live social relationships more serenely".

It will also be an opportunity to explore some medical aspects: the appointment will also be attended by the dermatologist Roberto Pisanu and the oncologist Tito Sedda, who in addition to explaining what happens to the body during therapies, will make themselves available to answer any questions.
