The trader from Olbia Gianluca Piredda had been arrested at the end of 2022, the charge for him was that of possession of about 700 grams of marijuana for drug dealing purposes .
His defender, the lawyer Oriana Erittu, had asked in vain for an expert report on marijuana, arguing that the substance was legal.
Today the investigating judge of the Tempio Court acquitted Piredda, the marijuana that was found in a room connected to his shop was classified, after a consultation, as light cannabis.
Piredda was subjected to house arrest for a month and had always professed his innocence. The 700 grams of marijuana and about 10,000 euros that had been seized were returned to him.
