Infinite waiting lists, but private facilities cannot contribute as they would like and should due to lack of adequate resources , creating inconvenience for patients.
«Private healthcare facilities that have been affiliated and accredited for some time are forced to reduce the services under the agreement due to insufficient allocation of their budget compared to the real needs of citizens. We ask the Region, as a matter of urgency, to issue a directive so that out-of-budget exams can be practiced , to avoid citizens having to pay for the service ».
This is the appeal launched by the Sardinian companies of Confapi Sanità, who wrote to the councilor Carlo Doria asking to be summoned and the establishment of a permanent table «to discuss and resolve the critical issues together».
Underlines the regional president of Confapi, Giorgio Delpiano : «It is essentially a criticality that dates back to the times of Covid, companies see the possibility of providing services under the agreement blocked despite the fact that they support the lack of capacity on the part of public hospitals . This causes the collapse of the health system which thus risks not being able to dispose of all the requests with the consequences of the creation of disproportionate waiting lists and consequent damage to patients who cannot access the necessary treatment within a reasonable time".
