There is still no news on the disappearance of the 11 rings and earrings stolen a few days ago from the Parish Church of San Giorgio Martire in Tresnuraghes. The jewels adorned the statue of the Madonna Assunta, and their disappearance has deeply shocked the local community, which is tied to those objects not only for their material value, but above all for their symbolic and religious value.

This was confirmed by the parish priest, Father Andrea Manca, who is closely following the progress of the Carabinieri investigation. The priest urged the faithful to pray that the rings may soon be returned to their "natural place," thus calling everyone to a gesture of unity and hope.

The municipal administration, led by Mayor Gianluigi Mastinu, also strongly condemned the incident, calling it a grave act of sacrilege that undermines the devotion and identity of the community. Investigations are ongoing to identify those responsible and attempt to recover the stolen objects, while the population awaits further developments, united by the desire to see the symbols of their faith returned as soon as possible.
