No answer to the possible questions of the public prosecutor Ginevra Grilletti.

The 37-year-old geriatric assistant Emilio Pozzolo , accused of road murder for the death of little Daniele Ulver (overwhelmed and killed just 15 months by the suspect 's scooter last February 1st while he was in the stroller pushed by his mother on the pedestrian crossing of via Cadello in Cagliari), he preferred not to show up at the appointment set for yesterday afternoon at the Prosecutor's Office. Decision taken in agreement with the defense lawyers Riccardo Floris and Patrizio Rovelli, who are now awaiting the closure of the investigation to take the next steps.

Their client has since been under house arrest by decision of the investigating judge Roberto Cau.

" I died with him " said Pozzolo, father of two children, after being persuaded by Floris to surrender himself to the police. The man had in fact escaped after falling into the wheelchair near the entrance to the park of Monte Claro, where the mother and son were headed. Two cars had stopped to let them pass and at that moment, according to the investigative reconstruction, the Yamaha T-Max 750 scooter driven by the 37-year-old ( without a license ) had overtaken them by invading the opposite lane , mowing the stroller and throwing the infant not short distance from the point of impact.

"It looked like a rocket - the version of a witness to the police - when he reached the intersection with via Pipia he made a reversal, took a look at the area of the accident and, slowing down without stopping , entered right in via Pipia at high speed".
