Dramatic road accident a short while ago on the State Road 131 , at the Nuraminis junction. A man of about 46 years old lost his life after the van he was traveling in went off the road, ending up against the guard rail.

According to an initial reconstruction, the man lost control of the vehicle for reasons yet to be ascertained. The impact was extremely violent: the van literally impaled itself on the metal barrier. There was nothing that could be done for the driver: he died instantly.

The 118 emergency services, firefighters and law enforcement promptly arrived on site, securing the area, recovering the man's body and starting investigations to clarify the dynamics of the accident.
