The mayor of Sant'Antonio di Gallura, Carlo Viti, is disheartened: «In this territory we have problems with traffic in any direction we move». In fact the picture is bleak.

The one-way system has been active on a stretch of state road 427 since January 19 (after a landslide) and the mayor of Sant'Antonio has asked Anas, in vain, to intervene to restore it and eliminate the traffic light.

We are talking about the Gallura Centrale state road that connects Sant'Antonio di Gallura with Arzachena. Viti explains: «I remember that it is an important road for our center and for all of Gallura. Anas immediately appeared collaborative and took on the commitment to restore the state road. Unfortunately, I must note, however, that months after the landslide we still have alternating one-way traffic in the La Fraicata section, where the ridge collapsed. An intolerable situation, the Ss 427 is used by many people who work on the coast. In essence we have traffic problems both on the Olbia and Arzachena routes. Anas must intervene».

On the Olbia route there is the scandalous construction site of Monte Pino, the Olbia Tempio in the stretch of Sp38 has been closed for 12 years. To close there is another traffic light in the middle of the Statale 672, the Tempio Sassari, activated after the collapse of a ridge in the territory of Bortigiadas.
