"We inform you that for the next three days the bar and chapel of the A. Businco cancer hospital will be closed for extraordinary sanitary interventions". A concise communication, the one reported today on the Brotzu hospital website, which also manages the structure in via Jenner, in Cagliari.

The decision, according to what has been learned, was adopted because the presence of mice was also discovered in those rooms. As had happened in the room that houses the hospital canteen kitchen. The video of a rat peeping out of the extractor hood had made the rounds of the chats.

Dal Brotzu had explained that the sighting dated back to the end of November and that the kitchen had been closed for a few days due to rat extermination. As it turns out, though, that mouse wasn't alone.

The hypothesis is that the animals were disturbed by the work carried out in the square of San Michele and that they found a safe haven in Businco, where they could have proliferated. So after the kitchen, the bar and chapel also close.
