The CIMO-FESMED corporate secretariat of Arnas Brotzu organized a union meeting to analyze the numerous critical issues affecting the company and the regional health service . The assembly, as stated in the press release, «expressed strong concern and discomfort for the delay in the payment of contractually due arrears , for the failure to start decentralized company negotiations and for the age-old problem of parking at the San Michele Hospital, which is still unresolved."

Among the hot topics are also the few company funds of the Healthcare Management , "far inferior to those of all the other regional companies which has caused indecent economic and social security damage to every single Manager".

«We therefore ask for a concrete commitment from company top management and the Regional Health Department to ensure that article 5 of regional law 1/2023 which allocated resources for the solution of the problem is applied. Finally, the Brotzu managers are asking for hires to cover the obvious staff shortages, better working conditions and guaranteeing levels of assistance and safety of care for all citizens. In case of failure to respond, the assembly reserved the right to proclaim a state of unrest . Healthcare, once the phase of angels and heroes is over, must return to being central in the agenda of the Regional Government", concludes the union note.
