Mastercard down and problems with payments worldwide. “Payment refused” is the message that many users received this morning who tried to make a payment with a credit card on the Mastercard circuit via Pos or online.

The reports come from all over the world. In Italy, the Downdetector site, which collects user reports regarding malfunctions of digital technologies, highlights reports between 9 and 12 with a peak at 10.

In the UK, Japan, Australia and Ukraine many citizens have had difficulties making payments.
