A week after the collapse of the truce, and following yet another night of mutual attacks, Iran has definitively declared the agreement reached with the United States in Islamabad null and void and is threatening a full-scale offensive in response to American strikes against bridges, power plants, and other infrastructure. After Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi declared that "Iran has broken its commitments under the Iran-US Memorandum of Understanding," Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei issued a statement. In a written statement, Iran's highest authority accused the United States of "bullying and barbarism" and branded Donald Trump's signature on the Islamabad agreement as "worthless."

Meanwhile, attacks from both sides continued for the seventh consecutive night. Iran targeted Washington's allies in the Gulf, particularly Kuwait and Jordan. Two American soldiers were killed, one is still missing , and four others were wounded but have already been released from the hospital, according to US Central Command, which declined to reveal the names of the fallen out of respect for their families.
