"Tonight we hit Iran hard in honor of their fallen soldiers." Donald Trump said this to reporters returning to Washington after attending the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina in New York. The US president was referring to the soldiers killed in an attack by Tehran on American bases in Jordan . " There are two, maybe three," Trump specified regarding the number of victims.
“We hit them very hard again tonight and we did it in honor of those great patriots,” the president added, “who fought to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.”
The tycoon continues to insist: "We control the Strait of Hormuz, Iran controls nothing." Then he reiterates, for the umpteenth time, that the United States has almost militarily destroyed Iran. "They have nothing left."
