On a rather heavy day in terms of fires , a warehouse belonging to the land reclamation consortium caught fire in Villasor on provincial road 4 at kilometre 14. The flames broke out in the warehouse, which is located within an agricultural land extending for approximately 1,000 square metres.

Inside, there were ferrous materials and work equipment. Two firefighting teams were on site, supported by two off-road vehicles equipped with fire-fighting modules, two water tankers, one of which was large, and a van for supplying breathable air.

Carabinieri from the Nuraminis and Gesturi stations also responded. No people or animals were injured: the stretch of road was temporarily closed to ensure the safety of the operation and prevent further risks.

The area will subsequently have to be reclaimed.
