Electricity dealing and theft: one arrest in Sassari

Arrested in Sassari after a chase. Last night, local police, during checks in San Donato, in the historic center, spotted a 40-year-old man known for several previous crimes. Upon seeing law enforcement, the man fled and, once apprehended, put up strong resistance. A search by officers led to the discovery of several doses of drugs, hidden both in his mouth and in a pouch tied to his leg and under his jeans. The total amount discovered was eight doses of heroin and nineteen doses of cocaine. The suspect's home also contained packaging materials and €6,500 in cash, divided into banknotes, which has been seized and will be investigated. But that's not all. Police also discovered that the man had also unlawfully connected to the electricity grid. The 40-year-old was arrested by local police officers on charges of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing, resisting a public official, providing false information, and theft of electricity.
