Construction sites are underway to renovate the raised pedestrian bridges over the canal, and the food trucks that are active during Cagliari's home games are being moved.
It will debut tomorrow, Saturday 24 October, on the occasion of the match against Bologna scheduled for 3 pm: twenty-two vehicles selling drinks and sandwiches will be positioned in correspondence with the Curva Sud of the old Sant'Elia stadium.
The solution, agreed upon with the Prefecture, the Police Headquarters, and the operators themselves, was necessary, the Municipality states, "to allow businesses to operate safely without interfering with the redevelopment of the walkways connecting the Cittadella dello Sport in the Monte Mixi neighborhood and the Unipol Domus area."
The reassignment of stalls, which is temporary until the ongoing work is completed, "will allow spectators to use the services of street vendors before and after Cagliari home matches in spaces closer to their own section."
