Clarity or invoice payments remain blocked. The consequences of the auditors' findings regarding the disputed agreement between Arnas and Bambino Gesù Hospital for the training of staff for the future pediatric intensive care unit at Brotzu Hospital in Rome are beginning to be felt. According to the allegations, the agreement was signed by general manager Maurizio Marcias following an irregular procedure.

The offices are at a standstill: the hospital's purchasing manager, Agnese Foddis, is asking to "acquire the administrative and accounting documentation necessary to settle the invoices issued by the travel agencies Mylea and Systemar for trips to Rome made by company staff as part of the training activities that should be included in the agreement." The department has long been asking to determine on what basis it should open the purse strings. But, according to a note sent to Marcias and the auditors, "the requested documentation has not been received."

Viewing the documents, Foddis claims , "is essential to allow for the appropriate preliminary investigations and to assess whether the necessary conditions exist to proceed with the payment of invoices in compliance with current legislation and the principles of legitimacy, transparency, and correctness of administrative action." The objective is to understand whether "payments, if due, are made on the basis of proper documents."
