It was supposed to be a day of celebration in Bosa . But all the events scheduled for today have been postponed as a sign of mourning: a strong choice of "community", that of the mayor Pier Franco Casula "which was shared by many, who let me know", underlines the mayor.

Silvana was just 51 years old: a husband, who is a goldsmith, and two daughters. she left too soon. On the other hand, the woman who everyone in the center of Planargia knew as Tzia Gavina was 84 years old: «A symbol, for Bosa», says Casula.

Dead, those of the two women, who despite being reasons for pain for relatives, acquaintances and friends, do not have (or, better, would not have) elements of extraordinaryness. In the eyes of a non-Bosano, at least.

Yet today the notes of the DJs did not resound on the Temo, the square did not "become an open-air disco", there was no entertainment for the children, no fireworks were fired: they were in the program of the event "The colors of Christmas", which was supposed to be a taster of the big New Year's Eve party.

Bosa, which is not a town of a few hundred souls but a town of eight thousand inhabitants, has decided to rally around the families of Silvana and tzia Gavina.

Disputes? None, or almost none: "Everyone understood," adds Casula, "when mournful events strike so hard, no one wants to party." A strong choice of community: «I am happy that it has been interpreted in this way. The events have not been cancelled, but postponed, hopefully to next week. This, however, was not the time », concludes the mayor.
