Tragedy in Sestu: Five-year-old boy chokes to death on sausage

A 5-year-old boy died last night in Sestu , around 8:30 pm, after choking on a morsel of food: he was eating a sausage.
The tragedy occurred in a house on Via Genova. The parents attempted to clear the blockage with the guidance of 118 operators over the phone.
When the ambulance arrived, the child was in cardiac arrest .
For 40 minutes the 118 operators tried to revive him but in vain.
