Some family members of Erminio Congiu, Annalisa Prasciolu and their son Giuseppe, killed on Tuesday afternoon in the family home in Hohentengen, in the Waldshut district where the other two surviving children of the couple reside, will leave for Germany in the next few hours. Baden-Wuerttemberg is the German region with Stuttgart as its capital, the city which is home, among other things, to Mercedes and a historic destination for Italian emigration which also plagued the area of Sardinia from which the semi-annihilated family came.

The same family members want to be close to relatives living in Germany and decide the date and place of the funerals of the three victims . The burial could take place in Hohentengen or Silius as soon as the bodies are made available to their loved ones.

The young alleged murderer has dual citizenship, German and Italian. Rahel Diers, the spokesperson for the Waldshut-Tiengen Prosecutor's Office responsible for the investigations, according to an agency note, declared that the motive for the massacre was being investigated and did not want to speculate on hypotheses. The alleged murderer was portrayed in a photo published by the website of the Bild newspaper: he can be seen with a beard without a mustache and dressed in a sweatshirt and baggy amaranth tracksuit trousers, handcuffed behind his back and accompanied by a policeman.
