A glimpse of Sinnaese life from the last century. Retired Angelo Perra proposes a new book on Sinnai of the twentieth century, recalling the life and people of the time: a fascinating work with 314 photos, the vast majority unpublished, which testify through three chapters: the urban layout of Sinnai with angles in most of them disappeared and the research on the characters to whom some historical streets have been named, a rich photographic documentation concerning the transformation of the old sports field, the Sant'Isidoro stadium, now only a faded memory, a nod to the numerous youth clubs that arose in the early 1960s and in business until the early 1980s. And again, people who have long since disappeared but have not been forgotten and who have been or have had an important part in the growth of the Sinnaese community as administrators, doctors, intellectuals, entrepreneurs. And a series of pleasant events or facts, such as civil and religious anniversaries, the numerous marriage rites with the inevitable procession through the village streets of relatives and friends, moreover the book also highlights the historic summer football tournament which began in 1967, but also dramatic events that occurred in the last century.

Finally, a comprehensive look at the Sinnai hamlet, Solanas. All this "described" through photographs, coming from his large photographic archive, by the numerous people and families who kindly entrusted him and whom he thanked in the pages dedicated to photographic references. The images with related and exhaustive captions are partly oral evidence but above all research carried out in public and private archives.

Angelo Perra's book entitled: “Sinnai: logus, personas and fatus de bidda nosta” with a preface by the mayor Tarcisio Anedda consists of 337 pages. At the end there is an analytical index of the names with about 2800 citations. All this and more in a pleasant work to browse and read, in short, a book to have in all homes in Sinnai. Angelo has made several photographic exhibitions over the years concerning the various aspects of the reality of his native country.

He is the author of several publications: “Sinnia, sinniesas and sinniesus”; "Bixinus and bixinaus"; "The Sinnaese devotion to Saints Cosma and Damiano" with the collaboration of Antonello Orrù; and finally, in 2016, "Sinnai: the '900 in Pratz'e Cresia".
