The 51-year-old from Assemini under house arrest in Sestu appeared today before the sole judge of the Court of Cagliari to answer to the crime of tax evasion.
The man was caught yesterday on board a taxi in a street in Sestu while he was under an obligation not to set foot on the street. The judge sentenced him to five months, commuted to a fine of 1600 euros to be paid in twenty installments.
In court he was defended by the lawyer Riccardo Floris . In the meantime, however, he has returned to house arrest, still in Sestu .
He had been involved last year in a drug scandal involving ketamine, cocaine, marijuana and hashish.
