Via the masks and via the social distancing.

Already between today and tomorrow, according to the calendar set by each school, we begin to return to class , even if the new school year on the island officially begins on Wednesday 14 for all 196 thousand Sardinian students.
The novelty this year is the absence of anti-Covid restrictions : the masks remain recommended for "fragile" students, but there will be no staggered entrances or distances. The desk mate is back and the possibility of having recreation no longer sitting at one's desk but all together in the garden, in the classroom, in the corridors.

“Finally free, the children will be able to resume activities and habits that they had to put aside - says with satisfaction the regional councilor for education Andrea Biancareddu -. The strongest wish is for those who enter school for the first time and who begin a new cycle of study. Students are our hope for the future ”.

"We naturally hope that the emergency does not recur - he continues - but in the event that this happens, the Region will be ready to manage it in the best possible way. We now have well-defined plans".

The rule is that everyone goes to class and only those who have a swab and are positive must stay at home. The isolation, in case of positivity, will last a week, only five days for those who do not show symptoms, and in any case at the latest after two weeks it will be possible to return to class even with a still positive swab .

“Cultivating knowledge through study to increase skills and shorten distances. In a world in constant evolution, characterized by a strong technological drive, the study represents the best tool to meet future challenges ”, is the message of the President of the Region, Christian Solinas.

“Sardinia today more than ever needs your genuine enthusiasm and your thirst for knowledge and knowledge - continues Solinas addressing the boys - If we can build a better future it will also be thanks to you. Good start to the school year for all Sardinian students ”.
