He was traveling in his mother's car, and at the exit of a curve he lost control of it and continued the race until he ended up in a vineyard on the sides of provincial road 15 between the town of Maracalagonis and the Gannì crossroads.
The airbag exploded, the boy remained lifeless in the passenger compartment, and was immediately helped by passing motorists. Then the alarm, transport to hospital with an ambulance: half an hour later Danilo Ghiani, 22 years old from Quartucciu, resident in the hamlet of Sant'Isidoro, on the old Orientale, died without having regained consciousness.
A boy known and respected. The news of the tragedy immediately spread, causing great condolences. The car was seized. The body has already been returned to the family for the funeral.
