A new connection for Sardinia: from this summer Cagliari will be connected, with the low-cost airline Volotea, to Salerno , an important landing point for visiting the Amalfi coast.

The flight will be available starting from 13 July, with a frequency of twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays: «This route», explains Volotea's International market director Valeria Rebasti, «allows us to add a new and important destination to our offer at Cagliari airport, to support the local economy and local communities. All passengers departing from Salerno will have the opportunity to discover the beauty of the Sardinian capital and Sardinian travelers will be able to easily fly to the Amalfi coast ."

This is the twelfth destination reachable with Volotea from Cagliari airport. Besides Salerno, there are six other Italian ones: Ancona, Brindisi, Florence, Turin, Venice and Verona. Then two French, Marseille and Nantes, two Spanish, Barcelona and Bilbaom and Athens in Greece.
