Three cars were involved in a serious accident near the Macomer/Bosa junction on State Road 131.

Firefighters arrived on site and secured the cars and road, which was reopened to traffic.

Five people were injured: two people were transported by air ambulance to Sassari hospital – one is in critical condition – the other three were transferred by 118 ambulances from Macomer.

The Macomer traffic police and Anas also intervened.
