I believe that you shouldn't touch anything underwater, from the limpet to the shell."

The well-known sailor Andrea Mura launches his appeal from the stage set up at the foot of the Aragonese Tower, in front of the port of Porto Torres, on the occasion of the third and last day of the long weekend of Nautic Event Sardegna 2024, of which the skipper of the Vento di Sardegna boat he is a testimonial. The initiative on nautical tourism and ports, opened in the Turritan city from Friday 14th and successfully concluded today, Sunday 16th June, is an event promoted by Assonautica Nord Sardegna chaired by Giovanni Conoci.

«I started sailing when marine protected areas did not yet exist, when they did not represent tourism attractors but were only super prohibited areas, – he continues – then only common sense was in force, today I believe that it is important that there is this protection, which began in difficult but necessary, as it is essential to intensify controls, prevention and communication to protection.
