Abbanoa will have to suspend water supply to the town of Quartu on Wednesday, October 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to repair a pipeline near the roundabout between Viale Colombo and Via Marconi, where a leak has been discovered.

In recent days, technicians from the water utility have conducted inspections at the affected site, one of the main hubs of the city's water supply network. The disruption will not affect coastal customers, who are supplied by another aqueduct.

The operations are expected to be completed by 5:00 PM, possibly earlier, after which the Sa Serrixedda reservoirs will be reopened and water will gradually return to the entire city, although it may initially appear cloudy due to the emptying and refilling of the pipes. Abbanoa estimates that the situation will return to normal by the evening.
