Located in vico Sassari, in the heart of the historic center of Macomer , the small barbershop that bears a name from other times , Le Figarò , reopens thanks to the initiative of a young woman , who defies the crisis and certainly not happy times to be able to open commercial and craft activities.

Covering an area of just a few square metres, the old barber's shop withstood the crisis , immediately after the owner, Mario Muroni, passed away several years ago, who left the legacy to his son Marco, who also passed away five years ago. Since then, the historic shop behind Corso Umberto, the main street of the town, has remained closed.

It was reopened by a young woman, Tiziana Carta, 41 , a hairdresser since she was 13 , who already owned a business in another part of the town and also in Porto Cervo during the summer. The woman, with a team of seven people, has seen fit to revive Le Figaro, defying the crisis and the unhappy times for the various commercial activities of Macomer. So a challenge. In the ancient workshop, not only cuts and beards are made, but also interesting activities are carried out, with the latest generation techniques.

"It will be a journey to rediscover the tradition and culture of a profession - says Tiziana Carta - but above all we want to pass on an activity that is part of the history of Macomer". The Bottega was reopened last Saturday.
