Covid, three deaths in Sardinia and 745 infections in 24 hours

Covid -19 infections are decreasing in Sardinia, but another 3 victims are recorded in 24 hours.

With nearly 6,500 tests carried out, the positivity rate stands at 11.5% .

Here is the bulletin released by the Region on Saturday 21 May 2022: “In Sardinia today there are 745 further confirmed cases of coronavirus positivity (yesterday 1,079, ed), of which 655 diagnosed as antigenic). A total of 6429 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.

There are 8 patients admitted to intensive care units (like yesterday).

The patients admitted to the medical area are 197 (-1).

21312 are the cases of home isolation (-638).

There are 3 deaths : an 83-year-old man, residing in the province of Sassari, and a man and a woman, respectively 92 and 82, both residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari ".
