The first flight from Alghero to Milan in territorial continuity takes off at 8:55: the arrival is therefore not very functional for anyone who has to travel for work - perhaps with an appointment in the morning in northern Italy. And the Transport Councillor, Barbara Manca, responds to the controversy raised by the regional coordinator of the League, Michele Pais , explaining that the timetables «are another critical issue that we find ourselves facing».

"The number of daily connections is reduced from three to two with the elimination of the mid-morning flight, a fact in itself penalizing and unacceptable", the representative of the Carroccio had attacked, to continue: "The first flight from 7 goes to 8.55, a time that does not allow you to be in the center of Milan before 11, barring further and possible delays. Just as the only additional flight that from evening becomes night, going from 19.30 to 21.10, practically useful exclusively for overnight stays, makes no sense . Think of the inconvenience of families with small children, or elderly people, unable to find a minimum refreshment after 22 in Milan upon arrival, especially in the winter period".

The reply comes via a press release from the Region: «The operational plan proposed by Ita Airways for connections in territorial continuity, which includes the outbound flight from Alghero to Milan Linate at 8.55, is yet another criticality that we are forced to face. The choice of this timetable», explains the councilor Manca, «is unfortunately permitted by the ministerial decree of 2021 and apparently considered more functional for the airline. However, we are already working together to find a solution more in line with the needs of passengers and convenient for the carrier».
