At 3 a.m. between Sunday and Monday, a group of five youths targeted several parked cars in Quartucciu . The incident was documented by footage from a resident's video surveillance camera , which shows the youths attempting to break into several vehicles and stealing items from inside them. The footage was posted on social media , in a citizen group, by the owner of one of the cars involved, who, before filing a complaint , decided to appeal to those responsible and their families .

"These five were caught on surveillance cameras, having a good time during their nightlife by wandering around Quartucciu trying to open cars and find the treasure," Davide Corda's post reads. "I kindly ask anyone who knows them to notify their families of the incident, or if there are parents in the group who recognize their children, to kindly return all items "stolen" from the Ford Fiesta pictured to the same owner. All the material will be taken to the police station to report the incident within 24 hours of this post, so I ask for the utmost seriousness," he concludes.
