Serious accident in the Maria Pia area in Alghero.

A motorcyclist aboard his Harley Davidson while traveling along via XXIV Maggio, for reasons yet to be ascertained, lost control of the bike, skidded and went off the road. The violent impact on the asphalt made him pass out.

Some passers-by, in the urban center of the city, witnessed the accident and promptly rushed to provide first aid. The man's conditions immediately appeared serious. The 118 operators intervened on the spot and requested the intervention of the helicopter rescue.

The motorcyclist was transported in red code to the Santissima Annunziata civil hospital. In the impact, the man suffered several traumas to the legs and upper body.
