He did not even give his mother time to reach the delivery room of the civil hospital in Alghero. A newborn was in such a hurry to get to know the world that he was given birth in the hospital parking lot.

The new mother immediately got into the car after the first labor pains. The race to the hospital at five in the morning, then the arrival in the parking lot of the structure but she was not even able to make those few meters to reach the Gynecology Obstetrics ward, on the second floor of the building.

The waters broke, the baby's head was already a few centimeters out, so the birth took place right on a stretcher placed by the health workers present outside with an ambulance.

In a few moments, a 4 kilogram baby was born, transferred with his mother to the hospital where they received assistance from specialized medical staff. Both are fine, despite the fear, and will be back home in a few days. The memory of those moments of fear and the joy of a happy ending will remain.
