Carabinieri checks continue in Cagliari's "red zone."
Yesterday evening, more than 50 people were identified, particularly in the area of the ARST bus station in Piazza Matteotti and the surrounding streets. Police ordered five people to leave the area, who were apprehended in violation of the Prefect's orders.
Six people have been reported at large for various crimes including tax evasion, receiving stolen electronic equipment and beach items, and illegal possession of weapons or objects capable of causing harm.
Specialized NAS and NIL units also took action, conducting health and safety inspections and conducting work-related checks. This led to the suspension of operations for a restaurant, which was officially closed until the minimum hygiene standards required by law were fully restored. Administrative fines totaling €3,000 were also imposed on the restaurant's owner.
