The community of Ozieri celebrated the 50th anniversary of the priesthood of Father Giacomo Farà, parish priest of the Church of San Nicola. The ceremony took place last night in a packed parish, honoring a priest who, with his example, honored their own existence and made that of the San Nicola community easier.

Don Giacomo retraced with all those present his past events, from his first appointment in the city district , from the first masses, to the welcomes into the homes of fellow citizens and the growth, around him, of a community that has become aware of its own unity and its own actions.

A journey marked by mutual recognition of the value of a happy encounter that, on the one hand, enriched the residents of San Nicola, who found in him a sure point of reference, and on the other, that of Don Giacomo himself, who, with sacrifice, commitment, dedication, and foresight, had the satisfaction of building a united, supportive, and more self-aware Christian community.
