Aerei, Deidda (FdI): "The Region should have done something more on the continuity front"

In the four years of government, could the Giunta Solinas have done something more in terms of air continuity? “Yes”, according to the chairman of the Transport Committee in the Chamber Salvatore Deidda (Brothers of Italy).

Therefore, "with the Region it is necessary to evaluate whether the agreement stipulated in the Soru era is still current or if a mixed system is needed, and a Government-Region table to relate with Europe and change the rules". Meanwhile, «with the fact-finding investigation launched in the Transport Commission, I am inviting you to take note that Sicily, Puglia, the Marches, Veneto and Friuli also claim territorial continuity. Together we can make it clear that there is a need to build not only Sardinian but also national continuity».

Antonella Zedda , deputy group leader in the Senate and regional coordinator of FdI, the deputies Gianni Lampis and Francesco Mura , and the regional councilors of FdI also took part in today's meeting.

Zedda, in particular, recalled that «this is the year in which the centre-right will have to make the final rush in view of the regionals. We are the leading party and the leader of the centre-right».

As for the possibility of re-nomination of President Solinas, «a year before there can't be a decision on the candidate for governor. There is certainly a discussion between the regional and national tables on what should be the best solution for the centre-right».
