The crime took place in the father-in-law's sheepfold , in the locality of Cussolu, between Orune and Benetutti. An ambush: the young man had gone to look after the animals in place of the elderly man, who was hospitalized, and as he entered the farm he was hit in the face by gunshots, perhaps a rifle .
The body was found around 10:30 in the morning. The carabinieri, alerted by a call to 112, immediately intervened on the spot, cordoned off the area and started the surveys. The investigation, entrusted to the carabinieri of Nuoro, is coordinated by the prosecutor Andrea Jacopo Ghironi, the autopsy will be entrusted to the coroner Roberto Demontis.
