At what point is the scrolling of the ranking for public housing in the Municipality of Cabras? The request comes from the minority councilor Antonello Manca who yesterday presented a successful question to the mayor Andrea Abis and the councilor for Social Services Laura Celletti. "Several families currently live in critical housing conditions, in dilapidated homes, with the presence of mold, rats and serious structural problems - we read in the document - Many of these families, despite having made a regular application and being included in the rankings for the assignment of public housing, have been waiting for years for a concrete scrolling of the list, without any response or update from the administration".

Manca recalls that transparency and timeliness in the scrolling of the ranking are fundamental to guarantee fairness and trust in the institutions: «Everyone has the right to live in dignified and safe conditions, citizens must not suffer delays or injustices: the future and dignity of people in difficulty must not be put aside».

Manca asks to know the updated number of families waiting and what criteria are expected for the next flow, but also when the last update of the applications was made and if an extraordinary check is expected to include the most serious housing emergency situations. Finally, what concrete actions will be taken. "Cabras - concludes Manca - cannot afford to leave anyone behind. The future of people in difficulty cannot be put aside".
