He hit a wild boar while driving on the 131, yet another accident involving an animal that cut off a motorist.

It happened this morning, around 11:30 a.m., at kilometer 182, on the stretch of road between Mores and Siligo. The car was seriously damaged, and the injured animal, though not seriously, ended up in the ditch. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed.

Anas workers intervened on the scene to ensure road safety, along with the traffic police, as well as a forestry patrol who requested the intervention of a veterinary surgeon.

In compliance with procedure, especially when the animal is still alive following an accident, the intervention of the environmental sector of the former Province was requested to remove the wild boar.

Once again, in light of recent fatal accidents, the problem of wild animals crossing roads arises, endangering the lives of motorists and those traveling on particularly busy roads.
